Jon Stewart on the AZ shootings and the media

If you didn't see this, you should. And if you did see it, then, like me, you probably want to see it again.

This was the opening of last night's show - nine and a half minutes, the last seven of which are Jon Stewart looking for some context and talking about how we should - all of us - be using this as a starting point to make the world a better place, while acknowledging that sometime in the future, we will all be brought to a horrified standstill again by some unforeseen tragedy.

Would that the actual press would do things like this. No wonder he's been likened to Walter Cronkite and other beloved reporters from times gone by.
